DISNEYWORLD 2009

Bruce asked me a couple of weeks ago whether I would like to go to Disneyworld and stay on the property. I said "Of course, it is Disneyworld, who wouldn't?" The next thing i knew, we were on a flight to Orlando.  It was a surprise graduation present for my Master's (I graduate for real in May) from Bruce and the kids.  We stayed at the Beach Resort Hotel just behind Epcot and had an amazing time... Bruce planned it all- from the flight to a reservation in a different restaurant each day.  The kids got to meet character after character and Ben learned to swim (well, propel himself facedown through the water- it is a start!).

Epcot was featuring the Flower & Garden Show so every country was showcasing perfumes- I picked up a lovely fragrance from the Guerlain display in France. Every morning we went to a different park and then returned to our hotel to swim the hot afternoon away and then we had dinner at Epcot and walked around the World Showcase watching street performers or watching the presentations by each country.  We had beautiful weather the entire trip and came home happily exhausted.
